Interests: music says a lot about a person so i'll tell you what i like. with very very few exceptions, i dont like emo/punk music at all...i enjoy listening: fiona apple, the beatles, beck, belle and sebastian, bjork, blonde redhead, jeff buckley, cake, cat power, coldplay, counting crows, cranberries, the cure, the decemberists, the delgados, depeche mode, the eels, ellipsis, the flaming lips, fountains of wayne, ben harper, interpol, jack johnson, jewel, norah jones, the lucksmiths, modest mouse, no doubt, oasis, pulp, radiohead, rem, damien rice, the shins, sigur ros, the smashing pumpkins, the smiths, weezer, and wilco. yes, those are in alphabetical order because thats what order my cds go in.
i have four guilty pleasures in life: dashboard confessional, justin timberlake, dawson's creek, and crappy reality tv shows.

Expertise: umm ice cream..hah i worked at an ice cream shop all summer and i am quite educated on the dessert! ooh and i can do a pretty good job of rolling silverware . what a skill.

| i would like to tell everyone who is now on summer break to please can
it, because you're making me jealous. i have class every single day
from may 15th-july 28th. and i think that everyone who gets to screw
around and do nothing just stinks.
so there.

here's to AUGUST! when i will finally have a break :)

| hey folks..
finished up second semester with a high B in nursing and A's in anatomy
and mircobiology (yay for me!). i'm off for two weeks and then it's
back to classes every single day through july. so all of you who are
talking about how summer is going to be so fun and relaxing and great
can be quiet, because you're making me jealous! i do have august off
though, so it's ok. dave will be coming to atlanta with my family and
me so that'll be a good vacation.
can't believe i'm almost done with half of my schooling. i can't wait to be a real nurse next year! so far it has gone well.
in other news...i'm in a wedding in september and i'm excited! dave and
i just celebrated one year so thats pretty good too :) we might take
ballroom dance classes this summer! its one of the many many things on
our list of stuff to do..if i ever have time.
seeing mogwai on the 13th..should be a good show..plus we'll get to see john and evelyn.

| so let me tell you what's new.
i just painted my toenails. this week in school i learned all about IV
therapy. it was neat. on monday we went to see Billy Joel and it was a
really great show! very energetic and a lot of fun. in april we're
seeing wolf parade and in may we're seeing mogwai :) this weekend we're
headed to delaware. i am on spring break as of tomorrow and it is
much-needed. after break, i will have 5 weeks of clinical in a row.
then off for 2 weeks and then begins the ever-dreaded nursing 3. from
mid-may to the end of july. ughhhh i hope it's not as tough as they
make it out to be. lately i have been using myspace more because all of
my st.luke's ladies are on it. so find me over there if you'd like.. http://www.myspace.com/audbaud . i should write in here more often though...actually, i should just write more in general.
sometimes lately i feel a little bit old, like i need to go out more
and be silly. i guess dave and i are pretty calm people, and we have a
lot of fun on weekends but sometimes end up just sitting around...and i
dont mind that...but..i dunno, i guess i'm saying i should make more
efforts to plan cool stuff to do.
2 weekends from now should be GREAT though. friday i might go into NYC
to see vanessa. saturday we're going to the bodyworlds exhibit in
philly and we are going to eat at this restaurant: http://www.podrestaurant.com it looks SO awesome and i can't wait! :)

| ok so things have been hectic and i never update anymore. i do
sincerely apologize, but i know that only like 3 people read this so i
don't feel all that terrible about it. school update: we had our
catheter competency, and today we did pharmacology..injections and
such..next week we have an IV competency..it is crazy. it seems like
there's never a day where i don't have to worry about anything..always
a paper to work on or a test to study for or something i need to
practice.
i have some fun stuff to look forward to in march though!
13th-- we're seeing billy joel..be jealous.
17-19th--going down to dave's parents' place in delaware
25th--day in philly with molly and matt for the body world's exhibit.
hopefully we'll go into the city one night to see john and evelyn as well. that would be quite nice.
in other news, dave leaves for spain on saturday...he will be gone for
12 days and will be in madrid and palma de mallorca...then he's going
over to london for a few days. all for work stuff..i'm sure it will be
neat. meanwhile, i will probably die without him..but it will be a nice
chance to hang out with some of my girl friends i've been meaning to
see..because this pesky boyfriend has been crowding up my schedule :)
my oldest brother bought a car today and i am proud of him! yay.
anyway i'm going to bed. nursing class at 8 tomorrow and then mirco lab and then home. have a pleasant weekend.

| today is crappy...
some people are freaking idiots.
not to mention my anatomy exam was not so fun...
clinical tomorrow..it's probably going to be boring because we can't do
anything new yet. and oh-my-GOSH next week we have to demo putting in
catheters on mannequins and i'm going to dieeee.
i don't feel good. i want it to be tomorrow after 5 because dave will be here and i will thus have reason to smile. yay :)
